Opportunities and vacancies

We are accepting applications for the following board and committee positions:

• FAIR Plan Governing Committee - Applications due April 12, 2024. 
  
  • Two insurance industry positions. Must be a full-time employee of an insurer that is a member of the Texas FAIR Plan association to be eligible.
  • One public member position.
  • One general property and casualty agent position. 
• Standard Request Form for Prior Authorization of Prescription Drug Benefits Advisory Committee
  
  • One health benefit plan networks of providers position.

Application process

1. An appointment application is required for consideration of any candidate seeking appointment by the Commissioner.
2. Send completed application to Government Relations via email to GovernmentRelations@tdi.texas.gov.
3. Your name will then be entered into the board and committee appointment system for further review. You may be contacted for a candidate interview as a part of this review process. 
4. The background and qualifications of all applicants are reviewed with respect to the purpose, composition, and statutory requirements of the board and committee of interest.
5. Commissioner appointment letters are sent to all candidates selected for appointment.
