In accordance with Texas Insurance Code Section 2211.052, the governing committee shall consist of eleven members:
- five members who represent the interests of insurers, each of which must be a full-time employee of an insurer who is a member of the FAIR Plan Association;
- four public members who reside in the state; and
- two members who are general property and casualty agents.
Terms: In accordance with 28 Texas Administrative Code Section 5.9912, members serve two-year staggered terms.
