Filings and timelines
Submit filings through the UCAA portal or email CLRFilings@tdi.texas.gov.
A few notes:
- Sending more than one email or sending your filing my mail will cause delays.
- We don’t accept incomplete filings or “placeholder” filings. We won’t refund fees if you do this.
- If you send confidential information, send a secure email and a secondary email with the password information.
- If your filing is too big for one email, send it as a zip file or send multiple emails. In your subject line, type “1 of 3,” “2 of 3,” and so on.
- After you email your filing, you’ll get an automated email from CLRFilings@tdi.texas.gov.
We review most filings in 60 days. Complex transactions can take 90-120 days or longer.
A few notes:
- We review filings in the order they’re received.
- The reviewer assigned to your filing will be the primary case manager.
- We might get help from other TDI sections for complex filings.
- We can’t provide legal advice, opinions, or answer “scenario” type questions or inquiries. If you have questions about company licensing or product filings, we recommend you get legal advice.
