To ease the administrative burden on issuers, TDI initiated a change to the reporting rule to move submission of data from annually to an as-needed basis. Therefore, issuers will not need to report annual data this year.

Background information
Insurers are no longer required to submit their refund or credit calculations on Medicare supplement insurance policies to TDI each year. The new rule, 28 TAC §3.3307, requires that each insurer retain those calculations and make them available upon TDI's request.
