To make sure you get the fastest help possible, read the following to know if you should file a complaint or if you should report fraud.
Do you think your insurance company or agent has done something wrong with your insurance claim?
- If yes, learn how to get help with an insurance complaint.
- If you have questions about filing a complaint, call our Help Line at 800-252-3439, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central time.
OR
Do you think another person, agent, or company is committing insurance fraud (violating criminal law)?
- If yes, use the National Association of Insurance Commissioners' online fraud reporting system for consumers.
- If you have questions about reporting fraud, email FraudUnit@tdi.texas.gov.
