Claims closed without payment survey

The Texas Department of Insurance requests information about the reasons claims were closed without payment (CWOP) in Texas for homeowners and private passenger auto insurance for January 1, 2021, through December 31, 2025.

Only these companies on this list are required to respond to this survey. TDI sent the request by email from datacall@tdi.texas.gov.

Please provide your response by October 30, 2026, as required by Insurance Code 38.001(c). This request is made under Texas Insurance Code Section 751.152.
