TDI is implementing a new database system for prompt pay reporting. Health maintenance organizations and health insurers offering preferred provider or exclusive provider benefit plans are required to submit quarterly and annual claim payment information to TDI under 28 Texas Administrative Code Section 21.2821, the rule which provides the reporting requirements for such information.
Prompt pay reporting will begin in the new system starting with the first quarter 2020 reporting period. While the reporting database system will be different, there is no change to the information that must be reported to TDI at this time.
Use this link https://appscenter.tdi.texas.gov/cleanclaims/p/home to request a new log-in for the database. Each health maintenance organization and health insurer submitting a report will need a new log-in for this system. Please use the above link and request a log-in before February 25, 2020.
More detailed information about the changed look of the screens and instructions for using new prompt pay system will be available at the above link on February 26, 2020.
