To:   Insurance companies licensed to write certain property and casualty lines of insurance in Texas

Re:   2019 Call for Annual Experience and Workers' Compensation Deductible Plans


Reporting Period:
          January 1, 2019, to December 31, 2019

This data call is made under Insurance Code Sections 2251.008 and 38.001. The data is used for a report that TDI must send annually to the governor, lieutenant governor, speaker, Legislature, and the public by April 1, 2020.

Applicability

This data call applies to all insurance companies licensed in Texas to write private passenger automobile, commercial automobile, homeowners multiple peril, workers' compensation, commercial fire and allied lines, residential fire and allied lines, commercial multiple peril, general liability, boiler and machinery, commercial crime, commercial glass, surety, inland marine, medical professional liability, or miscellaneous professional liability insurance.

Submission Requirements

  3. Link – Affidavit (Word)

Respondents must complete the data call using the fillable PDF form. This form requires Adobe Acrobat Standard 9.0, Adobe Professional 9.0, Adobe Reader 9.0, or a more recent version.

Adobe PDF forms are compatible with the Internet Explorer browser. If using Chrome, Firefox, or Edge, please see additional information in the instructions linked above.

  • Chrome: Right click the fillable PDF form link. Choose "Save link as…." and next to "Save as type," choose "Adobe Acrobat Document (*.pdf)." After it is saved as a PDF on the computer, open it using Adobe.
  • Firefox: Click on the menu button in the top right of the browser. Click on "Options." Scroll down to "Applications." Under "Content Type," click on "Portable Document Format" and choose "Use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC" from the dropdown list. This should allow the form to open after clicking the fillable PDF form.
  • Edge: Right click the fillable PDF form link. Choose "Save target as…." and next to "Save as type," choose "Adobe Acrobat Document (*.pdf)." After it is saved as a PDF on the computer, open it using Adobe.

Complete separate forms for each company in a group licensed for one or more lines of business covered in this data call.

Submissions are due to TDI by the close of business on February 12, 2020. TDI requests respondents must keep underlying data, individual source documents, and other information used to develop the response until at least February 12, 2022.
