The Texas Department of Insurance issues the attached mandatory data calls under Sections 2251.008 and 38.001 of the Texas Insurance Code. These data calls are the basis for a report TDI is required to submit annually to the governor and certain members of the Legislature. The data requested is designed to provide TDI with immediate access to market condition information.
You must respond to these data calls using the attached instructions no later than November 15, 2013. You also must retain underlying data, individual source documents, and other information used to develop your response until at least November 15, 2016.
If you do not respond to this data call within the time limits specified, you will be in violation of the Insurance Code and subject to the applicable penalties.
You are required to complete the data call using the interactive PDF forms available online at www.tdi.texas.gov/bulletins/index.html . These forms require Adobe Acrobat 7.0 or higher or a compatible version of Adobe Reader.
Submit separate forms for each company in your group licensed for one or more lines of business covered in these data calls.
