The Texas Department of Insurance issues the attached mandatory calls pursuant to the Texas Insurance Code Sections 38.153-161, which require insurers to file certain closed claim reports and an aggregate report with TDI. TDI adopted the Annual Aggregate Closed Claim Report Form and instructions by reference in Title 28, Texas Administrative Code, Section 5.9202. TDI adopted the Closed Claim Reconciliation Form and instructions by reference in 28 TAC Sec. 5.9204.
Please complete and return the Acknowledgment of Receipt no later than
September 19, 2012.
Please complete and return the 2011 Closed Claim Reconciliation, the 2011 Annual Aggregate Report, and all late and revised Closed Claim Reports no later than October 19, 2012.
If you do not respond to these calls within the time limits specified, you will be in violation of the TIC, and you will be subject to the applicable penalties.

We have enclosed the Closed Claim Report of Accepted Transactions, the Closed Claim Report of Unaccepted Transactions, the Closed Claim Report of Unusual Circumstances, and the Closed Claim Corrections/Suspect Errors Report. For confidentiality reasons, TDI does not post these reports on its webpage.
