Re:   Bulletin Regarding Weather-Related Events Occurring on 04/05/05 through 04/06/05


In accordance with the Insurance Code, §542.059 (formerly Article 21.55 §5(d)), and 28 TAC 5.9303, the Texas Department of Insurance has determined the weather-related events occurring on April 5, 2005 through April 6, 2005, in the counties of Anderson, Bastrop, Bell, Bexar, Bosque, Bowie, Brazos, Burleson, Burnet, Caldwell, Camp, Cass, Cherokee, Colin, Comal, Coryell, Dallas, Delta, Ellis, Falls, Fannin, Franklin, Freestone, Grayon, Gregg, Grimes, Guadalupe, Harrison, Hays, Henderson, Hill, Hopkins, Houston, Hunt, Kaufman, Lamar, Lee, Leon, Limestone, Marion, McLennan, Milam, Morris, Nacogdoches, Navarro, Panola, Rains, Red River, Robertson, Rockwall, Rusk, Shelby, Smith, Titus, Travis, Upshur, Van Zandt, Williamson, Wilson and Wood Counties are a catastrophe for the purpose of claims processing.

Claims resulting directly from the above-defined catastrophe shall be subject to the additional time periods allowed by §542.059 (formerly Article 21.55 §5(d)), Texas Insurance Code for the processing of claims.
