In accordance with the Insurance Code, Article 21.55 §5(d), and 28 TAC 5.9303, the Texas Department of Insurance has determined the weather-related events occurring on June 10, 2003 through June 15, 2003, in the counties of Anderson, Angelina, Aransas, Archer, Atascosa, Austin, Bailey, Bandera, Bastrop, Baylor, Bell, Bexar, Bosque, Bowie, Brazos, Brown, Burleson, Caldwell, Callahan, Castro, Clay, Cochran, Coke, Coleman, Collin, Comal, Concho, Cooke, Crockett, Dallas, Dawson, De Witt, Deaf Smith, Denton, Ector, Erath, Fannin, Fayette, Floyd, Freestone, Gaines, Gillespie, Glasscock, Goliad, Grayson, Gregg, Grimes, Hale, Hamilton, Hansford, Harrison, Hartley, Haskell, Hemphill, Henderson, Hill, Hockley, Houston, Howard, Hutchinson, Jack, Jasper, Jones, Kerr, Knox, La Salle, Lamb, Lee, Leon, Liberty, Limestone, Lipscomb, Llano, Madison, Marion, McLennan, McMullen, Menard, Midland, Montague, Montgomery, Nacogdoches, Newton, Nolan, Ochiltree, Oldham, Palo Pinto, Panola, Parker, Parmer, Pecos, Polk, Potter, Randall, Real, Runnels, San Augustine, San Jacinto, Schleicher, Shackelford, Smith, Sterling, Stonewall, Sutton, Tarrant, Taylor, Terrell, Terry, Throckmorton, Tom Green, Travis, Trinity, Upton, Val Verde, Victoria, Walker, Ward, Washington, Webb, Wichita, Wilbarger, Williamson, Wise, Wood, Young, and Zavala are a catastrophe for the purpose of claims processing.
Claims resulting directly from the above-defined catastrophe shall be subject to the additional time periods allowed by Article 21.55 §5(d), Texas Insurance Code for the processing of claims.
