In accordance with the Insurance Code, Article 21.55 §5(d), and 28 TAC 5.9303, the Texas Department of Insurance has determined the weather-related events occurring on November 14, 2001 through November 16, 2001, in the counties of Aransas, Atascosa, Bandera, Bastrop, Bee, Bexar, Blanco, Brooks, Burnet, Caldwell, Calhoun, Cameron, Comal, Dewitt, Dimmit, Duval, Frio, Gillespie, Goliad, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Hays, Hidalgo, Jackson, Jim Hogg, Jim Wells, Karnes, Kendall, Kenedy, Kerr, Kleberg, LaSalle, Lee, Live Oak, Llano, McMullen, Medina, Milam, Nueces, Refugio, San Patricio, Starr, Travis, Uvalde, Victoria, Webb, Willacy, Williamson, Wilson, Zapata and Zavala are a catastrophe for the purpose of claims processing.

Claims resulting directly from the above-defined catastrophe shall be subject to the additional time periods allowed by Article 21.55 §5(d), Texas Insurance Code for the processing of claims.
