This is to inform you that the communities of Smyer, Texas and Normangee, Texas are hereby assigned a temporary Public Protection Classification of 7/9.
The Insurance Services Office has not surveyed these communities and the temporary classification is assigned until such time a survey can be performed.
Insurers are requested to issue policies at this classification on or after the approved effective date of August 31, 2001. Premiums for individual policyholders in these communities should reflect the correct premium rate factors for the approved PPC.
