The Texas Insurance Code, Article 5.101 Section 3(o)(1) prohibits the use in rate calculations of certain administrative expenses that exceed 110% of the industry median. The following information is published for use by all companies writing Residential Property, Private Passenger Automobile, or Commercial Automobile Insurance subject to Article 5.101. The information concerning the industry median should be reflected in any rate indications utilizing 1998 or 1999 expense data.
