Re: Regarding weather-related events occurring 6/10/99-6/12/99

In accordance with the Insurance Code, Article 21.55 §5(d), and 28 TAC 5.9303, the Texas Department of Insurance has determined the weather-related events occurring on June 10, 1999, through June 12, 1999, in the counties of Dallam, Fisher, Haskell, Jones, Lubbock, Mitchell, Nolan, Potter, Randall, Scurry, and Taylor are a catastrophe for the purpose of claims processing.

Claims resulting directly from the above-defined catastrophe shall be subject to the additional time periods allowed by Article 21.55 §5(d), Texas Insurance Code for the processing of claims.
