Re: Commissioner´s Order No. 98-1198, adoption of new and/or adjusted 1995, 1997, 1998, and 1999 model private passenger automobile physical damage rating symbols for the Texas Automobile Rules and Rating Manual.

The Commissioner of Insurance, by Commissioner´s Order No. 98-1198, Docket No. 2374, has adopted new and/or adjusted 1995, 1997, 1998, and 1999 model private passenger automobile physical damage rating symbols for the Texas Automobile Rules and Rating Manual (the Manual). The new and/or adjusted symbols for the Manual´s Symbols and Identification Section reflect data compiled on damageability, repairability, and other relevant loss factors for the listed 1995, 1997, 1998, and 1999 model vehicles.

The amendments were adopted to become effective December 1, 1998.
