Re:   Weather related events occurring on June 7, 1996 in the county of Taylor for the purpose of claims processing.


In accordance with the Texas Insurance Code, Article 21.55 §5(d), the Texas Department of Insurance has determined the weather-related event occurring on June 7, 1996 in the county of Taylor is a catastrophe for the purpose of claims processing.

Claims resulting directly from the above defined catastrophe shall be subject to the additional time periods allowed by Article 21.55 §5(d), Texas Insurance Code for the processing of claims.
