Private workplace CPR, AED and first aid training

Our American Heart Association–certified CPR, AED, and First Aid classes are led by a TDI, Division of Workers’ Compensation certified instructor. Participants gain hands-on experience and the skills to save lives—both on and off the job.

What you’ll learn

This comprehensive course provides American Heart Association curriculum and includes:

  • First Aid: Training for common workplace injuries and emergencies—such as cuts, burns, sprains, choking, allergic reactions, and heat-related illnesses.
  • CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation): Training for the performance of life-saving chest compressions and rescue breaths for adults when breathing or heartbeat stops.
  • AED (Automated External Defibrillator): Training for the safe operation of an AED to restore a normal heart rhythm during sudden cardiac arrest.
  • Emergency Response: Recognize life-threatening situations and act quickly and effectively until help arrives.

Class details

  • Class Size: Up to 8 participants per private session (smaller classes allow for personalized instruction).
  • Course Length: Approximately 5 hours of hands-on, in-person training.
  • Cost: $35 per participant.
  • Location: At your worksite or a DWC training facility. (Additional trainer travel expesenses may apply.)
  • Languages: English or Spanish.
  • Certification: American Heart Association completion card (valid nationwide).

Certification process

Each participant receives an official American Heart Association certification eCard upon successful completion.
