ACB International, a chemical engineering and distribution company in Hankamer, Texas, has once again earned the Lone Star Safety Award from the Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC). This award recognizes the company’s strong commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for employees.
The company, which has 11 employees, first received the Lone Star Safety Award on October 1, 2022. Since then, ACB International has continued to demonstrate that health and safety remain a top priority through active employee involvement, strong management leadership, and well-documented safety policies and procedures.
In addition to the Lone Star Safety Award, ACB International also earned the federal Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) Award from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) on July 9, 2024.
