Who Files

All insurers or other entities authorized to write workers’ compensation in Texas are required to file.

Reports are submitted to TDI’s designated statistical agent, NCCI.

Purpose

DCI collects data on workers' compensation claims. The information is used for research and medical cost containment purposes by the Division of Workers’ Compensation and the Workers’ Compensation Research and Evaluation Group.
