Re:   Hurricane Harvey – Emergency Adjusters License Period Extension


As authorized under Insurance Code § 4101.101, the commissioner of insurance has signed Order # 2017-5288, extending the license term for emergency adjusters whose applications TDI has received or will receive between August 25, 2017, and December 31, 2017, for an additional 90-day period. Insurers, licensed adjusters, and emergency adjusters are not required to submit an additional filing or fee to obtain the additional 90-day license period. Emergency adjuster licenses subject to the commissioner’s order will expire 180 days following the date that the license was first issued.
