The Texas Department of Insurance is implementing the provisions of SB 876, 84th Legislature, Regular Session (2015) that concern the alignment of license expiration dates.  TDI will align individual licenses on January 14, 2016; entity licenses have already been aligned.  During the alignment, licensees may renew through Texas Online; however, Texas licensing services from Compliance Express and NIPR will be temporarily unavailable.

Compliance Express: The following services will be unavailable on January 14, 2016.

  • License Renewals
  • License Printing
  • Letter of Clearance / Certification
  • Provider Course Completion Submission
  • Continuing Education Transcript

NIPR: License renewals will not be available on January 14, 2016.  License information and changes to the NIPR Producer Database will be suspended from January 14, 2016, through January 18, 2016.

New license expiration dates and renewals processed on Texas Online after January 13, 2016, may be viewed starting January 19, 2016, on Texas Online at: txapps.texas.gov/NASApp/tdi/TdiARManager

For instructions on printing a license with the new expiration date, go to “How do I get a copy of my license” at: www.tdi.texas.gov/agent/agfaq.html.  The license number is required to print the license.  TDI will not be providing licensees with a new copy of the license.
